If you're interested in a commission or have any questions regarding me and my art, feel free to get in contact with me:

I am now open for commissions! Details below:

Commission Rates:

Personal commissions: priced at £20GBP/€23EUR/$25USD an hour.

Commercial commissions: priced at £40GBP/€46EUR/$50USD an hour. Additional fees may apply depending on the use of the work and how quickly it needs to be done.

If you have a specific budget, just let me know, and I will tell you if it’s appropriate for what you are looking for, or what sort of result I could produce for that price.

Payment is done through PayPal, with 50% upfront and 50% at end, once you have received a low resolution version of the final artwork, and confirmed it. Special arrangements may be made for certain circumstances.

Commission Process:

Firstly, you let me know what you want me to commission, ideally through email at art@icewreath.com. If you have a specific budget, lots of ideas to share, references, a rough sketch of the idea you’ve drawn, absolutely anything you want to share, this is the perfect time to do so!

Based on these details and discussion, I will set a price, assuming you have not contacted me with a set budget, and I will send an invoice for the first 50% payment.

After taking the first payment, I provide sketches of your piece, for your feedback and involvement in the process. Based on this feedback and your choice of sketch, I will move forward with the piece, asking for feedback where needed and providing updates. Once the piece is done, I will send a low resolution version of the final artwork, for you to approve. Once approved, the second 50% of the payment is due. Once this has been received, you will be sent the art files.

I do not watermark the final work you will receive, but the sketches and any progress pieces up to and including the low resolution version of the work will be watermarked for my security.

Process Example:

This is one of my most recent tattoo commissions for @justpeach.e.art on Instagram! You can see the process as outlined above in action here, with the updates I provided throughout, and how her feedback shapes the final piece.

Contracts:

I work using contracts, which you agree to by paying the first invoice, to ensure we both feel safe and secure in the process of creating the artwork. I am happy to hear any questions about the contract to ensure the client is happy with it before it is signed.

An example of the contract is provided below:

Client Reviews:

Icewreath(Nathan) did a commission of mine and my partner’s DND characters as a Christmas gift. He was polite, kind, professional. He made the process easy and finished the piece in a timely fashion. The piece is beautiful, has all of what I wanted it to have, and he worked within my semi-tight budget. The quality of the image is spectacular. Highly recommend Icewreath(Nathan)!
A while ago on holiday my friends and I took a photo where we jokingly recreated the poses from Da Vinci’s Last Supper.

I thought it would be fun to get it recreated as a digital painting, where the background and styling were changed to be more like the original. /u/icewreath(Nathan) did such an amazing job! He was communicative, clear, and showed me multiple progress pictures as he went along so that I could give feedback (although it wasn’t really needed since it looked so great!)

Thanks /u/icewreath(Nathan) for doing such an awesome job!! Hopefully sometime in the future I will come up with some other crazy idea for you :)
Hello, my name is Fareed Johnson, aka u/Empyreandm, and I commissioned several pieces of artwork from Nathan J, aka u/Icewreath. It was my first time commissioning artwork, so I was nervous, but Nathan was very professional and guided the whole process. I initially ordered three emblems with logos integrated into the symbol. After giving Nathan the brief, I was floored by what he sketched for me. I gave him several descriptions, but I didn’t have a clear picture in my head until I saw his art. After the sketches, we talked more about modifying the designs and developing the logo separate from the emblem. In the end, I got a product that far exceeded my expectations. So after we concluded the contract on the original three images, I ordered another commission for four more pieces. So it probably goes without saying that I am a fan of u/Icewreath, that I plan on using him in the future.
